I met Percy this weekend at a Leadership Edge weekend in Durham. I was really challenged by the way he was living his life. So often Christians live lives that are virtually indistinguishable from the people around them. They drive the same cars, live in the same neighborhoods have the same groups of friends, pursue the same comforts etc. Percy and his wife Angie decided to move into a poor neighborhood in Richmond, VA 13 years ago and started Church Hill Activities and Tutoring for the kids in that community. Their impact has been significant. I asked him to share a few words on what it was like to step out of his comfort zone.
