William's Baby Shower in Wilmington

Memorial Day weekend Loren, Wrenn and Kim were wonderful hostesses of William's first shower. Sarah VanDerPuy helped give the shower too but she couldn't be there unfortuanatley, we missed her lots.

Wrenn had one of her co-workers Annabell make this beautiful and delicious cake for the shower. There were little booties on one side and this cross on the other with Will's initials. I loved it!

This is a shot of the lovely table they prepared, the topiery in the center is actually from our Wedding! (With new greenery and flowers of course!)

My Mom hung this precious wreath that Sarah made and sent me as a gift. What a creative and cute idea! If you can't tell, there are baby things pinned all over!

About half way through the gift opening Pete came in and helped finish it up. Here I am holding a sweater that Sherry gave us that was actually Pete's when he was little and I think Sherry made it too.

This can give you an idea of what the atmosphere was like :)

We were finished finally and had the best time opening all the sweet gifts for our sweet little Will!

For the rest of our time in Wrightsville we spent it playing on the beach and being outside as much as possible. Here we are with Wrenn and Michael after a fun day on the ocean, Pete's being a little silly!

On Pete's last night we went down to the Yacht Club an old club that my Dad grew up going to and that I grew up playing at in the summers. We sat on the porches and felt the ocean breeze and then fixed our own supper and ate looking over the dunes. It was great. Here Pete and Mom are both enjoying the amazing view.

Wrenn was enjoying the view as well!

And finally Pete and I needed a picture together on this beautiful night. Check out Pete's expression, he's a total goofball, but I love him!
