By Whose Authority?

A couple weeks ago I got a call from the editor of 9Marks Ministries in Washington DC. It just so happens that this person was also my senior year roomate and good buddy Paul. Before I knew it I was working on the cover for thier pastor's next book. Here it is. Not finished yet but almost there.

Happy Valentines Day

A month ago Katie and I went down to see Jodie and Allen in Taos, NM to tell them the sweet news of Katie's pregnancy. It turns out that Buena Vista was on the way, the place where i fell in love with Katie 4 years ago. The picture above shows Mt. Princeton and if you look close enough you can see Frontier Ranch. Well maybe not but you can imagine. The summer that I met Katie she was the camp gardener and I was in charge of the Ridge Runners.

Here we are putting our arms around eachother when we barely knew one another. She is just so squeezable! I love my Katie.

Mom & Dad Back For More

Mom and Dad came back from the Denver Airport last night because there were no flights landing in New York. The Noreaster had dumped 27 inches of snow in Central Park alone. They rented another car and drove an hour and a half to come stay with Katie and I again in Frisco for the last night of their trip. Behind us is the ice that I chopped up on our driveway Sunday afternoon.

Keystone Adventure Tours

This past wednesday I went "KAT" skiing with a couple of guys from work. We took about 10 runs from 10AM to 1PM in the back bowls of Keystone and then hit the Alpenglow Stube for Lunch on the boss. It was the best day of the season by far.

Here is Scott. He is a lift supervisor at Keystone. The white lines behind his head are the trails of Breckenridge.

This is a cornice. It certainly makes for an interesting drop in point to the bowl. It sort of resembles a quarterpipe.

Here is Matt dropping in.

Matt again riding the powder into into the trees.

The view from Erickson Bowl at Keystone is about as good as it gets. In front of the SnowCat is frozen Lake Dillon and on the far left Frisco where Katie and I live.

Snowshoeing With Mom

Here mom is sitting down at the top. You can see Dillon Dam Road in the distance (the little line off her right hip). Katie usually goes out of her way to avoid the Dam.

Here mom fell in up to her hip. I will post a video later this week of her trying to get up.
